I know I can bring a wealth of experience in the areas of blended learning, technology integration, learning resources, as well as planning and professional growth. My books have been in print since 1994. Here’s the brief section of my latest book on the importance of understanding the change process:
Since the implementation of an action plan is going to cause a change in one or more staff members, we should become familiar with what research tells us about this process. Although I elaborate on this dynamic in the second section of this book, we can anticipate that the people involved will resist some or all of the innovation the action plan is promoting. Luckily, there is extensive research that shows what interventions are the most effective at each step of the change process. The Concerns-Based Adoption Model is the most powerful tool to use in the educational setting. A succinct description is available at the National Academies’ web site http://www.nationalacademies.org/rise/backg4a.htm
