Sarah Tankoos
The Future Project
Director of Operations + National Tour Manager
New Haven, CT
Before joining The Future Project in January 2012, Sarah Tankoos served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala from 2009-2011, where she managed an integrated youth development program for students, teachers, school leaders and parents, and led a community-driven construction project to build two eco-classrooms made out of recycled materials. That kind of creativity and resourcefulness comes in handy as she works with The Future Project's Operations team to design and launch a national Future Corps Leaders program, develop the organization's Human Resources department, and lead event production, community engagement, and partnership-building within New Haven, CT. Most recently, she manages a 50-state tour of award-winning education documentary, Most Likely to Succeed, where she supports strategic planning, communications, and partnership-building across the country. Sarah's passion for people, culture and nature has also taken her on travels across the USA and internationally to Fiji, Indonesia, Brazil, Argentina, Belize, and Guatemala.
